This Isn’t Just Another Page — It’s a Brotherhood Built on Real Conversations
BODS (Brotherhood of Dads) is a growing community of fathers across the UK who are done pretending everything’s fine.
We talk about the stuff that actually matters — mental health, pressure, relationships, fatherhood, and everything in between.
No filters. No judgement. Just real conversations with lads who get it.

Real Stories From Real Dads
We travel across the country sitting down with dads and having honest conversations about life, struggles, and what fatherhood really looks like.
These aren’t interviews. They’re real moments.
You Don’t Have To Do This Alone
Whether you’re struggling, need to talk, or just want to be around other dads who understand — this is your space.
Our Discord community is open, supportive, and built on real connection. No pressure, no expectations — just lads having each other’s backs.
Connecting Communities Project
Denbighshire
Brotherhood of Dads CIC is currently developing the Connecting Communities Project in Denbighshire.
Denbighshire is where this project will begin. It will be the blueprint, the inspiration, and the first real example of how a local BODS network can bring dads together, reduce isolation, and create meaningful community support.
Our aim is simple: to create safe, welcoming spaces where dads can connect with other dads, talk honestly, build friendships, and realise they are not alone.
Many dads struggle quietly with the pressures of fatherhood, mental health, relationships, work, finances, loneliness, or simply the weight of trying to keep everything together. BODS exists to give dads somewhere to turn before things reach crisis point.
Through the Denbighshire Connecting Communities Project, we want to offer a range of activities that help dads reconnect with themselves, their children, and their wider community.
Planned activities include:
Dads’ coffee mornings, where dads can bring their children, have a brew, meet other dads, and let the kids play in a relaxed environment.
Outdoor wellbeing walks and treks, led by a dedicated local mountain leader within the Brotherhood, giving dads a chance to get outside safely, clear their heads, and talk naturally while walking alongside others.
Health and fitness activities, supported by our Health and Fitness Coordinator, helping dads build confidence, routine, motivation, and healthier habits in a realistic and supportive way.
Family-friendly meet-ups, helping dads spend positive time with their children while connecting with other families.
Peer support sessions, creating space for honest conversations around fatherhood, mental health, relationships, and life in general.
Practical wellbeing activities, focused on confidence, routine, healthy habits, and reducing isolation.
Community events and local partnerships, working with councils, venues, and organisations to make sure dads feel visible, included, and supported.
Signposting to further support, helping dads access appropriate services when they need more specialist help.
We are currently waiting on funding from The National Lottery to help us grow this project properly and make it accessible to more dads across Denbighshire.
The long-term vision is to build a BODS network across the UK, with local dad-led communities in towns, villages, and cities where fathers can come together, support each other, and reduce loneliness.
Denbighshire will be the starting point — the place where we prove what is possible, build the model, and inspire other areas to create their own BODS communities.
No Dad Walks Alone.

What Dads Are Saying

“I wanted to help set up and run BODS because
I BELIEVE IT IS AN IMPORTANT VENTURE.
Dad’s are extremely underrepresented in terms of fatherhood and it’s only in recent years when stuff like “Andy’s mans club” have become a thing.
There is so much out there for mums and rightly so,
but DAD’S HAVE VERY LITTLE.
Just because our roles are different on the journey,
MUMS AND DADS ARE BOTH ON THAT SAME ADVENTURE.
I recently spoke to my Dad about this group and
HE TEARED UP, he loved what we were doing here and told me how proud he was of it and wished he had something like this when he had me and my brother.
If what we have made here can help
ONE DAD ON THAT JOURNEY,
THEN IT’S DOING ITS JOB.
Whether it helps one dad or every member of our growing community, it’s making a difference.
WE ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE.”

“I joined BODS because I didn’t realise how much I needed something like it until I found it.
Being a dad can be brilliant, but it can also feel heavy at times, and it’s not always easy to find people who truly understand. BODS gave me a space where I could be myself, have a laugh, and talk honestly when I needed to.
It’s more than just a group—it’s a community. There’s always someone there, whether you’re having a good day or a difficult one.
I joined for support, but I stayed because of the people.”

BODS MOUNTAIN CHALLENGE 2026
We did it. Together.
In May 2026, John and his daughter took on Y Garn via Devil’s Kitchen for BODS. They climbed for George, they climbed for the Stroke Association, and they showed exactly what BODS is about: bringing people together around something that matters.
Watch what they accomplished:
A massive thank you to everyone who supported John and his daughter on this challenge. Your donations, your encouragement, your belief in what BODS is about, it made this possible. We raised funds for a cause that matters, and we proved that when our community comes together, we can do hard things.
To everyone thinking about joining BODS: this is what we’re about. Real people, real support, doing real things together.
How You Can Support
If you’ve found BODS, been impacted by it, or simply believe in what we’re building — you can help.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps us:
1. Support vital charities
2. Grow the BODS community
3. Reach more dads who might be struggling in silence
Why It Matters
Too many dads feel like they have to “just get on with it.”
BODS exists to change that.
This challenge is more than a hike — it’s a statement:
No dad walks alone.
More Than Just Online
From coffee meetups to challenges and events, BODS is about showing up in real life too.
We’re building something that goes beyond screens — real connections, real support.

Help Us Reach More Dads
BODS is growing daily with a simple goal: reach more dads who need support. It’s becoming a movement built on honest conversation, connection, and understanding—helping dads who feel isolated or struggle in silence find a judgment-free space so they don’t have to face it alone.
Got a question, want to get involved, or just need someone to talk to?
